After8toEducate Receives $150,000 Grant Award from AT&T

Dallas-based AT&T is donating $300,000 in support of area youth experiencing homelessness. Local non-profit organizations After8toEducate and Incarnation House each received $150,000 to further their efforts to provide life skills and education services, after-school programming, and safe spaces for Dallas ISD students.

Dallas Mayor Eric Johnson attended a recent event commemorating these gifts. Mike Peterson, AT&T Vice President of External Affairs, explained the significance of organizations like After8toEducate in providing resources to the over 4,000 students experiencing homelessness in Dallas ISD. AT&T’s Believe Dallas Initiative is partnering with local public and private entities with the goal of helping the homeless and veterans in the Dallas area.
